Future. What is it? What kind of feeling does this word bring up?

It was the theme of this experimental typography workshop that I named lately SKOL (from Russian “shard”). Thinking about the future, an image of contemporary architecture came up to my mind. All these sophisticated forms, lines, unbelievable constructions... It’s fascinating no doubt! But at the same time there is something cold and dehumanizing in it. This feeling was my starting point.
